Gaylord Barragan: Fishing is a good hobby for a kid and also as a family. My son belongs to a Boy Scout Troop and they do lots of different stuff. Such as;Hiking, Camping, Leaning to cook in the outdoors, Rock climbing, canoeing, Skiing, Sailing sailboats, Tying knots, orienteering, building towers, and doing some community service in our community. There are lots of other activities they do.It also starts to teach them skills that they will be able to use later on with a job.You could check out your local national wildlife office for help on learning to fish.Hope this gives you some different ideas to check out with your son....Show more
