Jade Ohno: Soda does not make that much of a difference when it comes to losing weight. It's unhealthy or the body. If you want to stay on a good diet, drink water most of the time, and add soda once a week AT MOST.
Nikki Sypult: Diet is only "diet" because it has no calories. It has no calories because it contains aspartame and other artificial sweeteners. These have been thought to contain carcinogens. But non-diet soda is no better. All that sugar and crap is NOT good on your kidneys or for your weight. Some people would rather take the risk rather than the calories...so it's really a preference. If I were you, I would look for other alternatives, such as juices. I know, I know, BORING. But it has way more benefits and it doesn't weigh you down like soda can. What I like to do, is buy the water ! flavor packets. They have about 5-10 calories per packet. You just mix with a bottle of water and enjoy. You can also bring them with you if you're going out, order water and add your packet! Then you can enjoy flavor with your dinner and not worry about chugging preservatives or calories....Show more
Enriqueta Steffen: i was on a diet for 5 months and i drank diet sodas every day.i lost the amount of weight i was suppose to lose according to my calorie intake and physical activity.so the diet soda didn't have any negative effect on my weight loss.
William Vickerman: diet soda is no better for you then normal soda,normal soda fills your body with sugerand diet soda fills your body with aspartine (which is really rather bad for you)
